Community Sustainability
Nancy wants to see her community thrive, not just survive! She is a champion for accessible healthcare and childcare, education and investment in the youth, and an advocate for affordable housing and livable wages. Her background in community-facing work will continue to inform her influence in the commission for her community’s interests and needs.
Our Collective sustainability!
At the end of the day, I would love for District 20 to feel like home for all residents, regardless of where you are from, where you are in your life journey, where you land on the political spectrum, and where you are headed. Although I am motivated by my own moral compass, I was raised with Christian values such as the golden rule; treat others the way you want to be treated. I believe that compassion and care for our neighbors is one of the most powerful expressions of love.
Economic sustainability
As a small business owner with an arts background, Nancy understands the need to ensure that all communities have access to small business resources. Corporations doing business as usual and extracting our hard-earned dollars while small businesses struggle is not acceptable.
Environmental Sustainability
District 20 would not be the same without the wonderful parks and green spaces we all enjoy. Nancy is dedicated to protecting local favorites such as Pinery Park, the RPNA Community Garden, and Lamar Park as well as our access to clean air, water, and soil!
